Welcome to Northbrook Kennels. We are a small, family based Kennels in North Canterbury. We specialize in breeding Chocolate and Golden Labradors. We hope this website gives you some idea of who we are, how our dogs are looked after and how our puppies are cared for during their first eight weeks. We also have some useful tips on settling a puppy into his new home.

Last to Go
The last puppy to leave always gets a lot more time with the family. Green’s littermates have all gone. We are getting lots of cuddles from this gentle puppy who is off to make her new home on a station on Tuesday.

Well Done, You Made It!
Welcome to the NK family, Tilly. She jumped her last hurdle, the PennHip test, today. This picture was taken outside the vets, when Tilly was still feeling a little sleepy after her anesthetic. She was bouncing around again in no time.
